On July 12, 2003, the Miss Kingsport Pageant celebrated their 50th
Anniversary. They have sent a representative to the Miss Tennessee
Pageant for 50 consecutive years 1954 - 2003. There were 28
former titleholders to attend this event. Although a Miss
Kingsport winner has never won the title of Miss Tennessee, two
Miss Tennessee winners have held the title of Miss Kingsport.

Preliminary Swimsuit winners = three
Preliminary Talent winners = four
Non-Finalist winners = seven
There was also a Miss Sullivan County Pageant. There were 12
Miss Sullivan County winners to compete for the title of Miss
Tennessee from 1955 - 1970.
